Ama Nia began as something personal — a way to create for myself. What started as a search for a signature scent grew into a mission for my own skin, and from there into something much bigger. As I researched, I realized just how much Africa provides the world, how abundant its resources are, and how deeply connected we are to that heritage. Ama Nia means “Born with Purpose,” and that purpose is clear to me. I am committed to sourcing authentically, supporting the communities in Africa where many of my ingredients are processed, and creating skincare that is true to its roots. But this is only the beginning. My vision is to return more — not just through the way I source, but through giving back directly from my sales, and encouraging others to do the same. Africa is vast, powerful, and abundant, and I believe in building a movement that reflects that truth. For generations, the world was taught to see her as small, poor, and broken. Ama Nia exists to make it right — to reclaim the narrative, honor what was taken, and remind the world of Africa’s endless wealth, beauty, and strength. Ama Nia is more than skincare.
